:: Founded in 2003, the BASE hall serves as home to 28 undergraduates and a Faculty or Staff Advisor who create an intellectual and social community right in the heart of Clairmont Campus. BASE, which stands for "Bridging Academics, Service and Ethics," attempts to recreate the open, friendly atmosphere of freshmen dorms while encouraging residents to engage in and organize service projects, hall meals and socials, and intellectual programs. This year Maureen Sweatman, Assistant Director of Emory Scholars, serves as BASE's staff advisor. |
